More options for network connections.
With the IR302 you have several options to choose the network connection(s) you need. From the wired 100Mbit connection, the fast mobile connection LTE CAT4 and medium and slower CAT1, CATM, NB-IoT and alternatively also WiFi. All this makes it easy to connect to your device.
Reliable connections.
IR302 ensures that you can always reach your decentralised device as it is possible to connect the different connection options as redundant connections.
For example, select the wired connection as the main connection and the mobile connection or WiFi connection as backup.
If you only have mobile connectivity but still want to be sure of redundant connectivity, the IR302 supports two SIM cards. Choose SIM cards from two different providers and you can be sure that if one can't connect, the other can. Especially useful for devices installed in a vehicle or ferry, for example.
The modem constantly checks the connection. If there is a problem, the modem will try to re-establish the connection itself.

The IR302 is very compact and makes it easy to fit in most places, either in new installations or expansion of existing installations. As standard, the IR302 can be mounted on a flat surface with the two small angle brackets included. For installations based on DIN-rails, we offer a small DIN-rail bracket.

Easy access to decentralised devices.
Standard SIM cards have the disadvantage that they can connect to the Internet but unfortunately not the other way round. You can't connect to a modem at any given time, as it has no available Public IP address.
This can be solved by buying more expensive SIM cards that either have public IP addresses or, even more expensive, run in their private data layer. This is a problem if you have devices in different countries that you want to access.
With Inhand's InConnect service, you can use ordinary and cheap SIM cards. You can buy Danish cards in Denmark, German cards in Germany and so on. You configure the IR302 to connect directly to a selected server. On this server, you configure which devices sit behind the individual routers and now devices at one end of the country can communicate with devices at the other end of the country or the world. Not just 1 to 1 but 1 to many.
Inhand's InConnect Service is free as long as there are only a few devices and not too much data to transfer, so it's easy and cheap to get started.
