Stable connectivity is essential for industrial solutions. Unreliable network product is unable to recover from faults and it may be necessary to manually reboot the device locally. For installations in unmanned locations, this results in longer downtime and can be very costly.
The InRouter 600-S series has a built-in hardware watchdog, so no matter if there is a software error or the device loses connectivity during mobile connections, it ensures that the router reboots itself and gets back up and running. There are multiple levels of error detection to get the device back up and running quickly. This ensures that there is always a connection to the devices behind the router, no matter where it is installed.

The InRouter 600-S series supports InHand's Device Touch Cloud, allowing operators to perform remote diagnostics, troubleshooting and programming and debugging from a central location.
When error alarms are received, operators can log into the local Device Touch client and access local devices behind the Router via on-demand VPN tunnel.
InHand's Device Touch Cloud provides a secure, fast and efficient way to achieve device maintenance without being on-site.
Models.
The InRouter 600-S series can be divided into two groups; IR611-S which is a flat version with 1x RJ45 LAN connector for mounting on a plate and IR615-S with 4x RJ45 LAN switch + 1x RJ45 WAN for mounting directly on a DIN rail.
The two models can be delivered with or without WLAN, 3G HSPA+, 4G and LTE CATM as required.
For more demanding installations, the IR615-S series is also available in a version that supports 2 SIM cards. Either for stationary installations where you want to be sure to have a backup connection if the first one is down for service or for mobile installations, for example in a truck or on a ship crossing a border.
As something completely new, a new model will be released late this year that supports DMVPN (Dynamic Multipoint VPN). This is a technique where you can connect multiple locations via VPN without having to spend hours configuring the individual routers manually step-by-step. Data is encrypted by IPsec, making DMVPN a preferred solution for connecting multiple locations.
