Our history
Thiim A/S has been driven by innovation, quality and responsibility for generations.
The company was founded in 1940 by Camillo Hansen Thiim, who set the framework for a company focused on electrical safety and professional solutions for industry.
In 1971, the company became a public limited company under the name The engineering company C. Thiim A/S, who with great professionalism and business acumen developed and owned the company until 2019, when Thiim became part of the Addtech Group - an international technology group with over 150 companies in more than 20 countries.
Over the years, we have developed and refined our business. From being a technical trading company, we are now also a manufacturer of our own relay solutions - including advanced metering relays for monitoring fault currents, current and voltage, phase failure and much more.
Today, Thiim A/S stands on four solid business legs:

Common to all areas is our goal: to ensure electrical safety, high quality and reliable solutions that create value for our customers.

Thiim is a proud partner of VADnet Europe
- a pan-European network of Value Added Distributors focused on the Internet of Things (IoT) sector.
Thiim is a member of VADnet Europe with the purpose of promoting long-term business opportunities in wireless networks, cyber security and data communication solutions for IoT.
Sustainability
At Thiim, we take active responsibility for the environment. We work hard to minimise our environmental impact - for example, by ensuring proper handling and recycling of electronic waste and batteries. Through co-operation with Elretur and Because.eco, we help ensure that waste is handled responsibly and does not end up in the wrong places.

Together with Addtech, we are committed to positively influencing our business partners and encourage them to follow our Code of Conduct. If someone feels that we are not living up to our values, the whistleblower scheme allows them to report anonymously and safely.
Whistleblower scheme
Thiim - in collaboration with Addtech - is committed to responsible and transparent business practices with high ethics and integrity.
We are part of a whistleblower scheme where anyone can safely and anonymously report serious irregularities in violation of our values or Code of Conduct.
The scheme is administered by independent partner WhistleB, which ensures complete confidentiality.
