General energy meters

General energy meters are used for continuous monitoring of electricity consumption in production facilities and technical installations. They measure current, voltage, power and energy in real time and provide an overview of loads, distribution and consumption patterns. With communication protocols such as Modbus, M-Bus and Ethernet, they can be integrated into SCADA, BMS and energy management systems.

We also offer portable and temporary energy loggers/energy meters that can measure energy consumption at a local location without configuration.

Areas of application

Energy monitoring and optimization

Provides insight into consumption on machines, process lines and buildings, enabling efficient use of resources and energy savings.

Power quality analysis

Detects voltage variations and harmonic disturbances that can affect sensitive equipment and operational stability.

Maintenance and operational monitoring

Alarms and data can be used for condition-based maintenance and reducing unplanned stops.

Portable, temporary energy loggers

Designed for easy and safe setup at metering points in single or three-phase installations. They are used for mobile energy spot measurements or long-term monitoring, recording current, voltage and power without invasive installations.

Compact, reliable and self-configuring model, robustly built for both indoor and harsh environments, making them ideal for unstable or changing measurement needs.

Benefits in OT networks

User-friendly setup

Many devices come with built-in WebView software for automatic discovery, real-time visualization and alarm setup

Modularity and scalability

Install multiple meters over time in the same network - e.g. in main, sub or multi-circuit systems

Proven accuracy

Energy consumption and power quality monitoring is certified according to relevant standards such as IEC 61557-12 and EN 50160
