Power connection

Thiim offers a wide range of relays for engine start, immobilization, overspeed monitoring and synchronization control to ensure efficient and safe operation.
An engine starter relay is used to automatically start gasoline, gas or diesel engines and protects against misfiring or incorrect starting. Immobilizer relays prevent the starter from activating when the engine is already running, while an overspeed relay monitors the frequency of the engine and cuts out in case of a fault in the speed control system - protecting both the engine and connected components.
For parallel operation or grid connection, our synchronization control relays ensure that the generator is only connected to the grid under correct voltage and phase conditions. This prevents damage to the generator and reduces the risk of outages or errors in the installation.
